With excitement building about the Northwestern State Demons football team and Saturday afternoon's 3 o'clock home game in Turpin Stadium against nationally-ranked Central Arkansas, this Wednesday's NSU Demons Quarterback Club luncheon will be held in the Reading Room at Watson Library on campus.
 
The luncheons begin at noon, although lunch is available earlier. There is an all-inclusive cost of $10 which covers the buffet style meal, a salad, a dessert, tea and water.
 
Demons football coach Bradley Dale Peveto and this week's three game captains will speak, along with Demons basketball coach Mike McConathy, whose team plays an exhibition game Wednesday night at 7 against Ouachita Baptist in Prather Coliseum. Peveto will show highlights of NSU's third straight win, last Saturday's 23-10 victory at Texas State.
 
Each football season, the Watson Library staff graciously hosts one Demon QB Club luncheon, giving NSU supporters a chance to see the library's range of services available. The Reading Room is located on the second floor of the library.
