One of the most prolific players in Lady Demon history, the 6-foot-3 Langston ranks sixth all-time in scoring (1,664 points, 15.7 average in 106 games) and third in rebounding (896, 8.2 per game) after a memorable career from 1980-84. She shot .508 from the field, fifth-best in school history, in her career. The Downsville native led the 1983-84 team with a 19.2 scoring average and a 10.6 rebounding average, twice scoring 32 points in a game that season, and becoming the first Lady Demon to win All-Louisiana honors from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. Langston was the first Lady Demon given an opportunity to play professionally when she was picked by a Columbus (Ohio) franchise in an American-based league that never came to fruition. Langston, the first Lady Demon basketball star signed to play professionally, ranks sixth all-time in scoring with 1,664 points and is third all-time with 896 rebounds.
