A record-setting athlete in two sports, Cronin is one of the greatest players in Lady Demon volleyball history and a Southland Conference champion and NCAA qualifier in the triple jump … still has 10 top 5 entries in the Lady Demon volleyball season and career records and held NSU’s career kills mark (1,291 from 1994-97 until 2014), after setting six school season and career marks …. she is one of four players to eclipse 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs for the Lady Demons...invited in 2000 to work out with the USA Olympic Team in Colorado Springs … a two-time honorable mention All-Southland selection, the first NSU volleyball player to earn such conference-wide recognition …  won Southland triple jump crown outdoors in 1999 at 42-0 ¼ and set the school record that season (42-1 ¼) … she qualified for the 1999 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships … scored at the Southland Outdoors for four straight years, medaling three times (second, 1996; third, 1998, and her 1999 win), and twice won All-Louisiana honors.
