A Natchitoches Parish native, Killen was a standout for Coach H. Lee Prather’s teams… became a highly successful prep coach at Lake Charles High School, going 217-53-16 in 23 seasons, including the 1932 state championship … the Wildcats went 35-1 from 1929-33.
