Yarbrough, who was a standout lineman at NSU from 1958-61, is also a member of the Top 100 Demons of the Century roster chosen during 2007 Demon Football Centennial Celebration … a force as a tackle on both sides of the ball, Yarbrough was a team captain in 1961 and was All-Gulf States Conference along with winning the Demons’ “Best Defensive Lineman” award … played in the All-American Bowl in Tucson, Ariz. and played professionally in the AFL with the Oakland Raiders …  drafted in the 8th round by Oakland and also was taken in the rival 1962 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers (244th overall).
