Member of Top 100 Demon Players of All-Time roster chosen during 2007 Demon Football Centennial Celebration … a four-year starter who set school records for total offense (6,178 yards), passing yards (6,037), and consecutive passes without an interception (113, in his senior season) … three of his season passing totals rank in the career top 10 although none of his single-game totals do, demonstrating his consistent production for coach Sam Goodwin … Ruston native who broke Bert Jones’ RHS passing records and guided the Bearcats to a 15-0 state championship season in 1990, when he was named the Superdome Classic MVP and Ruston earned a No. 1 USA Today national ranking … an assistant coach under Goodwin, Scott Stoker, Bradley Dale Peveto, and Jay Thomas, he was named head football coach at NSU on Nov. 21, 2017.
