HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Tatiana Larina leads the Northwestern State tennis team as the Lady Demons wrap up their fall season and head to Southern Mississippi to compete in the Halloween Classic this weekend.
 
The tournament is set to begin on Friday at 8:30 a.m. and will end on Sunday.
 
NSU will compete against host Southern Mississippi as well as Central Arkansas, Jackson State, Southeastern Louisiana, Nicholls State, Louisiana-Monroe, Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette and Mississippi State.
 
Larina took two victories last weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southern Regionals, including a three-set win against Auburn's Jen Pfeifer.
 
"We are excited to compete in a strong field this weekend at Southern Mississippi,” said NSU head tennis coach Patric Dubois. “Polina Konop and Tatiana Larina played well last week at the ITA regional and we want to build on that this weekend."
